The only known survivors of the lost continent of Baltamis are these sentient constructs of wood, iron, valves and steam. These mechanical men reproduce by mitosis, so machine memories are passed down through the generations, giving Gnumatics proficiencies in history and arcana.

REPAIR: Gnumatics require parts and labor to be repaired to full functionality 8 hours and a full range of parts, lack of parts will halve effectiveness of repair, while having an additional laborer (including self)will halve the time needed for repair. Self repair can occur during rest.
REST and OVERHEATING: for each hour past 12 hours of continuous activity, the Gnumatics does an increasing check against overheating, causing immediate system shutdown for as many hours as it takes for the overheat counter to reach 0 (IE at 15 hours of straight walking, the Gnumatic rolls a check against the overheat counter.. if 3 or less he shuts down for 3 hours). Each hour of rest also decreases counter by 1. 8 hours rest fully resets counter.
SPECIAL : OVERDRIVE: gain advantage on any roll, then add an overheating counter and roll against overheating (meaning task will be completed, but Gnumatic will shut down afterward).
